“Isn’t it just an account?”

Of all the things she had, Eternity accounts were what she had in abundance.

If Father Tan hadn’t mentioned it, she wouldn’t have known that Xi Jiang needed an Eternity account.

After Ye Wanlan and Lu Qingning died one after another on the Continent of Eternity, Si Fuqing had actually lost interest in logging into Eternity.

She continued to play the game for two reasons. Firstly, the game had given her a newbie gift pack that allowed her to travel back fifteen hundred years to the Great Xia dynasty, giving her a chance to witness true history.

Secondly, she had grown fond of several NPCs (non-player characters), like the Master of Ghost Valley.

The holographic game was extremely realistic, each NPC had their own unique personality, and Si Fuqing treated them as real people.

Xi Jiang didn’t immediately react; he was busy arguing with Father Tan.

Caught off guard by her words, he paused, “Miss Si, what did you say?”

“You need an Eternity account, why didn’t you ask me?” Si Fuqing repeated, “You could have started playing earlier. Although, I don’t have a game pod on hand. Go back and ask your Brother Nine for one.”

Xi Jiang’s eyes widened, “An Eternity account?!”

In some ways, the Mo family and the Miracle Doctor Alliance were alike. To obtain an Eternity account, one needed to prove their strength.

Among the brothers, only Chen Ying had secured a game account due to his Class B evolved being status.

Xi Jiang couldn’t deny his envy.

“Yes,” Si Fuqing nodded, “If you want it, I’ll give it to you.”

Xi Jiang hesitated, “Isn’t this too much? It’s too valuable…”

“We’ll talk about it later,” Si Fuqing said nonchalantly, “It’s not that valuable; it’s just an account, not a living person.”

Xi Jiang began to calculate how many months of salary he would need to give up for this.

Seeing that Xi Jiang had no intention of attending Miss Chuyi’s class and instead followed a female celebrity, Father Tan took a deep breath and angrily shouted, “Be stubborn all you want! When you fail the assessment, let’s see what you do then! I’m doing this for your own good, why can’t you understand?”

“Chasing celebrities? What’s so great about celebrities? They’re just actors! They’ll deceive you, and you still believe them. You really have no brain!”

Other people completed secret missions and got promoted within five to eight years.

But Xi Jiang remained the same.

How could he not be anxious?

Si Fuqing didn’t pause, “What assessment?”

“Miss Si, I’m really sorry,” Xi Jiang apologized to Si Fuqing, feeling ashamed, “He spoke rudely to you, I will definitely have a good talk with him.”

“Your father doesn’t know the truth,” Si Fuqing said calmly, “When the assessment comes, just let him see for himself.”

Xi Jiang scratched his head, “He’s always been too obsessive, with a strong need for control. When I was a kid, I didn’t like bitter melon, but my dad would make it every meal and force me to eat it.”

“There were many other things too. As long as I disagreed with him, he’d start yelling at me, saying I was ungrateful and that since he brought me into this world, I had to obey him.”

Si Fuqing remained silent, then sighed, “It’s a wonder you don’t have psychological issues.”

She didn’t continue wondering around but returned to the residence arranged by Mo Yanwen.

Because the game pod couldn’t be moved, Si Fuqing only brought the game helmet.

Xi Jiang curiously touched it, “So this is the Eternity game helmet? I thought it was for riding a motorcycle.”

Si Fuqing put on the game helmet, entered the login space, randomly selected a visually appealing account number, logged out, wrote it down on a piece of paper, and handed it to Xi Jiang.

“This is your ID. Holographic games don’t need passwords,” Si Fuqing explained, “When the game pod arrives, your brain waves will be the password.”

Everyone’s brain waves are different, so account theft was nearly impossible.

Xi Jiang held the piece of paper, still somewhat in disbelief.

“This is a three-star account. Let’s start with that,” Si Fuqing said, rubbing her chin, “Three-star accounts have almost all the features. Since you haven’t played holographic games before, a higher-level account might be counterproductive.”

“But it can be upgraded in the future. Use it without worry.”

Xi Jiang, usually carefree and indifferent, wasn’t foolish.

Eternity accounts were issued by the Free State and went through multiple layers of screening.

Whether they ended up with the Mo family or the Miracle Doctor Alliance, there were only a handful each year.

Most were just one or two-star accounts.

Three-star accounts were very valuable, usually granted to those who topped family assessments.

Everyone understood the principle of not flaunting wealth.

There were always people consumed by envy, and showing off too much could invite trouble.

Unless one completely trusted the other person.
