I was feeling bad to see my 5 archers died today, it was the worst feeling I ever had because this can be an attack from an enemy. The new zombies with immense power and durability were capable of killing my archers but not when they are in a building. In a hand to had combat, zombies might have an upper hand but this wasn't their doing.
These new zombies were unlike any I had encountered before. They were larger, faster, and had an unusual level of intelligence. Their skin was thick and leathery, almost impervious to arrows and swords. They had razor-sharp claws and teeth that could tear through flesh and armor with ease. Their eyes were wild, filled with a mad fury that seemed to drive them to relentlessly pursue their prey. They were relentless, relentless beasts that seemed to feel no pain or fear.
I was again thinking about the outpost incident where I must be thinking about the soldiers I have to select to fight for me tomorrow. I focused on the menu again and opened the army selection option. I was selecting an army right now, so tomorrow they are ready before I step in the training ground and we should be ready to leave.
So, army selection menu was opened in front of me.

So, this was what my army was going to look like tomorrow. I didn't add many magic minions because I just don't use them. I also have to protect them. The incident that happened last time shouldn't happen again.
I was very satisfied with my army. This time, I was going to have 15 brute force minions, which can decimate a small army all by themselves. I was also thinking about taking the iron wall with me to the battlefield. The other army will be inside the walls, and we also need something to protect our archers. The holes inside the wall will allow archers to shoot arrows, and the wall will protect them. Five brute force minions will easily take the iron wall with us on expeditions.
The only worry I had about this attack was the weaponry they were going to use. The intelligence variant minions told me that they were weapon makers and they were famous for their inventions. The iron wall is a great invention that can change the flow of a whole battle.
I was worried they might have some new weapons with them, which might pack a strong punch. I will have to be careful about the fight tomorrow. After having dinner, I slept earlier because tomorrow we will leave early.
I rose early, while the sky was still enveloped in the cloak of darkness. The chill in the air seeped through my armor as I made my way out of the barracks to where my trusty steed was tethered, eagerly awaiting our departure. With a mounting sense of excitement and purpose, I donned my armor, feeling the weight of it settle comfortably on my shoulders as I made my way to the training house.
Upon arrival, I found that the army was already assembled, ready to depart at a moment's notice. But something was amiss, Chloe, one of my most trusted companions and advisors, was missing. Without hesitation, I dispatched a utility minion to go check on her, and soon enough she arrived on her horse, her expression troubled and distant. I quickly dismissed her appearance, as now was not the time for personal concerns, we had a mission to fulfill.
We set out, heading towards the northeast, with the map provided by my intelligence variants minions as our guide. They had assured me that they would meet us along the way. As we trudged through the darkness, the cool morning air biting at our faces, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within me.
As we journeyed on, the sky slowly began to lighten, the first rays of sun peeking over the horizon. The light spilled over the mountaintops in the east, casting an ethereal glow across the landscape. As we made our way further, the sun rose higher in the sky, casting its warm light on our path. We were halfway to the village and still had another hour and a half until we would reach our destination.
As the sun reached its zenith, we finally arrived at the place where the intelligence minions were supposed to be waiting for us. And there they were, in the distance, their figures becoming clearer as they approached. A sense of relief washed over me as I greeted them, their presence bringing a renewed sense of confidence and reassurance. They informed me while riding, that the village we were headed to didn't have any secret paths that could be used to our disadvantage, and that there was no one there to stand in our way. This knowledge only strengthened my resolve and we pushed on towards our objective with renewed vigor.
It was only a matter of time before the war would begin, it was only a matter of time before I found myself in large-scale combat. Before then, I needed to prepare as well as I could. When it truly begins, the stakes will be higher than ever and weeks to months of work could be destroyed.
Still, it was the only way I was going to progress.
