The Grand Ending
Sang Wu, “”
At least this idiot was somewhat manly.
She crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. She glanced across the room and realized that nothing’s changed. All that stuff she had before didn’t move and remained right where she left them.
She sighed. Sang Wu suddenly felt like there was no need to keep fighting.
She gently coughed and called out, “Mu Jinghang.”
Mu Jinghang instantly turned his head. Like an obedient dog, he answered a little roughly, “Why are you calling me?!”
Sang Wu ignored his attitude and took the lead, “The reason why I returned this time, isn’t completely because of our son.”
Mu Jinghang, ” Then why?”
Sang Wu, “Because you’re about to face a bloody calamity. The type that might just take away your life.”
Mu Jinghang, “”
Mu Ling said something similar earlier. At the time, he thought his son was just joking around.
But this damn woman was saying the same thing
Thinking over her words, Mu Jinghang couldn’t identify what was real or fake. His face, however, darkened, “You’re cursing me?!”
Sang Wu, “I am an oracle.”
Mu Jinghang snorted, “So you brought our son back in preparation for my funeral?! There’s no need! I have my dad!”
Sang Wu shook her head and walked up to him, “I came back because I wanted to give Mu Ling a family. But to choose this time to come back, was because of the calamity you’re about to face.”
Her eyes then brightened, and she spoke slowly, “You’re the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. I won’t let you die.”
At once, Mu Jinghang’s brain went numb.
Her words echoed in his brain again and again.
You’re the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. I won’t let you die.”
The look in his eyes went from fury, to shock. From shock to bewilderment. From bewilderment to surprise.
He pulled her in by her shoulder, “So you care about me, right?!?! So you do have feelings for me, right?!?!”
Those same words were just asked by Mu Jianguo. Sang Wu was able to answer it easily then, but now, it was hard for her to admit this.
But she had the guts to make such a statement just now. This guy here was also straightforward forward and if she didn’t make it clear now, he may never fully understand.
She hesitated, but still decided to give him the answer he wanted, “I may not be as capable as Qingqing, but I am good enough to deal with you.”
Mu Jinghang, “”
Sang Wu continued, “No matter how incapable I am, if I threaten with my life, there’s no way Qingqing won’t help me.”
Mu Jinghang felt like he wasn’t smart enough to understand this, ” So what are you saying?”
Sang Wu, “If I felt nothing towards you, I never would’ve given up my body for you. There’s no way you could’ve forced me to do anything. Definitely not get pregnant with Ling.”
Mu Jinghang’s brain buzzed. Finally, he was starting to understand and the light in his eyes lit up.
He picked up Sang Wu, happy like a child, “So you damn woman’s been in love with me this whole time!”
Sang Wu, “”
She regretted her honesty.
Reality has proven that this guy blossoms with the tiniest ray of sun.
Just as she thought that, she heard Mu Jinghang ask, “So why do you like me?”
After that initial excitement, Mu Jinghang became uncertain.
Everyone called him stupid. And he believed that.
Though he got angry when they said Sang Wu didn’t like him, he knew that it was normal for someone with such a high IQ to not like him.
Sang Wu stared into Mu Jinghang’s emotional eyes and said, “Perhaps it’s because I’m blind.”
Mu Jinghang, “”
A man who was happy just seconds ago dropped his face, “Say that again?!”
Sang Wu, “I don’t know how I came to fall in love with you. Perhaps I am blind.”
Just then, she felt her head spin.
By the time she recollected herself, she found herself on his bed.
With the guy’s forehead against hers, she asked in a daze, “What are you doing?!”
Mu Jinghang pulled off his tie and gritted through his teeth, “My high IQ wife, can’t you guess?”
Sang Wu’s face turned dark, “What game are you playing?! It’s still bright outside! Mu Ling might come in anytime now. Get away from me!”
Mu Jinghang closed the door and sent a text to Mu Jianguo. Then, he threw the phone against his desk.
“Alright, nobody will disturb us now. Mu Ling has my dad looking after him, no need to worry about him going hungry or getting cold.”
Sang Wu was shocked by his shamelessness, “You texted dad about this?! Do you have any shame?!”
“I have you and that’s enough.” Mu Jinghang grabbed the escaping Sang Wu and tossed her back onto the bed.
“It’s still daylight outside!”
“I’ve been oppressed for six-seven years, I don’t give a damn if it’s night or day!”
“Bastard!”
“Phew, bastard is here.”
