Chapter 3071: People from Different Groups Don’t Mix Well
“I was done with work long ago. I didn’t have anything to do, so I was double-checking my work.” Han Zhuoling closed the laptop and asked, “Can we get dinner now?”
“Yes.” Shi Xiaoya nodded and said, “You must be hungry.”
“Not really. I have been eating the fruits that the hotel sent me, so I don’t feel hungry.” Han Zhuoling walked over and continued, “But you have been working the whole time.”
“Not really. Zhuofeng was very thoughtful and prepared a lot of snacks for me. When the actors were filming and I had nothing to do, I would eat the snacks whenever I felt hungry,” Shi Xiaoya said.
“By the way,” she continued. “Let’s ask Zhuofeng to eat dinner with us.”
As expected, Han Zhuoling only thought of his younger biological brother as an annoyance and responded, “He’s old enough. Why does he still have to hang around his older brother and sister-in-law and eat with us? He is a mature single man. He should learn to eat by himself.”
Shi Xiaoya was speechless.
“No wonder. When I told him to eat dinner with us, he looked like he was in pain,” Shi Xiaoya said with a laugh.
Obviously, Han Zhuofeng knew his own older brother well.
“There are many other singletons.” As Han Zhuoling said this word, he gave off a sense of superiority. “Tell Zhuofeng to eat with them. We belong to different groups and don’t mix well together. Those singletons should find other singletons.”
Hearing this, Shi Xiaoya burst into uncontrollable laughter.
If Han Zhuofeng found out what Han Zhuoling said, he would show such a pained expression. When Shi Xiaoya thought of this, she laughed so much that she had to squat down.
Seeing Shi Xiaoya laughing to the point that she could not stand, Han Zhuoling showed a helpless expression.
He had no choice but to squat down as well.
However, when Shi Xiaoya saw Han Zhuoling’s face, she remembered the serious and solemn expression he had while he was speaking pridefully, causing her to laugh even more.
It took a while for her to finally calm down.
“Is it that funny?” Han Zhuoling asked in a helpless tone.
“It’s because of how inconsistent your facial expression was with the words that were coming out of your mouth. You looked so serious,” Shi Xiaoya said.
She had laughed so much that she felt drained of energy. Han Zhuoling had to help her up.
“I was stating the obvious. If they are all single, they could take the chance to get to know each other. It’s a very good thing if he found someone he liked through this,” Han Zhuoling said.
Based on what Han Zhuoling said, it was obvious that he did not care about the family background of the person whom Han Zhuofeng might end up dating.
Han Zhuoling would support the relationship as long as the girl was someone Han Zhuofeng liked and she was an honest person without a messy life.
Han Zhuofeng had always lived a very happy life. He had two older brothers always supporting him.
His older brothers allowed him to do whatever he liked. They tried their best to give him the chance to make his own choices.
The youngest sons of most rich families either had to be capable or had to marry the person decided by their family in order to become a valuable asset to them. However, Han Zhuofeng didn’t have to be like the youngest sons in most rich families.
Instead, he was allowed to date and marry whomever he wanted.
Although it might have sounded like Han Zhuoling disliked Han Zhuofeng, the truth was that Han Zhuofeng loved his little brother very much.
Han Zhuoling was even thinking of ways to increase Han Zhuofeng’s chances of finding a potential partner.
Shi Xiaoya smiled and said, “Zhuofeng can’t take this chance to get out of that single life. We are always together. Besides Zhiqing, the others present are Yujie and Zhiqing’s assistant, Fang Qiaohan. They have no such intentions towards Zhuofeng.”
Han Zhuofeng was too much for ordinary girls.
Not every girl wanted to find a rich husband like they were Cinderella.
There were many girls who just wanted a stable and peaceful life.
