Chapter 3791 Fourth Day

It had been three days since Davis arrived in the true immortal world.

He was able to find Shirley on the first day and Isabella on the second day night. They never expected her to come from the Magical Beast Wildlands as the info they had was that every teleportation occurred in towns or cities, basically some kind of settlement.

They guessed that there was no way Magical Beast Wildlands would have some kind of settlement, considering its reputation. Even the insect magical beasts in the Great Desolate Plains don't dare approach that region.

They imagined that it was possible that there would be some hermits living their lives dangerously.

However, they didn't imagine that a livestock settlement would exist, and even if it did exist, it was unthinkable for that livestock settlement to be considered a settlement.

Davis and the others guessed it had to do with the way they were split, even though they joined hands when teleporting.

Nonetheless, they were appalled when they heard what went on in the Magical Beast Wildlands from Isabella. They have heard of such treatment occurring even in the First Haven World, but it was incredibly rare to come across in the current era.

For Isabella to encounter twenty-eight such villages that probably made up an isolated cattle town and save thousands of immortals and transcendents alike from the fate of nurtured only to be eaten, they were dumbfounded.

"Fine… let's give them some houses to live in the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace's space…"

Davis sighed and told Isabella, causing her to look at him gratefully.

The Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace hosted hundreds of units, but it was in no way enough to accommodate thousands of people. However, the sixth floor had a training ground called the Vast Temporal Space Formation.

Space expanded in the sixth floor's training grounds by many times, and time could be controlled effectively up to the Immortal Emperor Stage since Myria recently tweaked them. Disregarding controlling time, the expanded space could be used to host millions of people.

For the time being, Davis felt like he could use it to safeguard normal people.

They agreed to share life and death anyway when begging for him to allow them to enter his city and now even the palace. In short, they could be termed as his people.

Davis didn't want to start a town or something, nor was he that kind. He couldn't just abandon them after they stayed in his city for some time.

Of course, he didn't expect much from them other than for them to stay quiet and live their lives, but somewhere in his heart, he hoped that they could be the normal townfolks that his children could wander off to and play with. After all, his children could never go out for fear of being assassinated in the First Haven World.

Forget assassinations— even a random city dweller would simply burst into madness and kill his child simply because they were a Divergent's child. There were a lot of people who were stomaching anger at various things that make them miserable, so they wouldn't hesitate to take their anger out on something that wouldn't strike back.

And then there were some who possessed pure hatred for Divergents. Davis had encountered one such disciple from the Aurora Cloud Gate, but there were sure to be many outside in various places. He didn't know what the true immortal world's people were like, but so far, he guessed they were all hostile since Heaven's Warriors were worshiped.

Nonetheless, since the people who decided to share life and death with him on the surface level could be hosted, he couldn't see why these livestock could not.

"Careful. They're wild and don't know the Sky World Language. They could basically attack people and violate them with an innocent, euphoric expression on their faces."

Isabella warned.

She didn't bother to recount they were all naked in front of her and offered dual cultivation since Davis might kill them for it but not since he was an understanding person. Nonetheless, she didn't want him to experience uncomfortable emotions.

"…"

Davis didn't know what to say her words. He didn't have time to teach people, so he decided to reward the refugees with some immortal crystals by having them teach the uncivilized. However, the problem was that these uncivilized people were stronger than the refugees.

"…" He could imagine them basically flipping the refugees down and starting to bang them.

It would be a severe problem, but he also heard that there were intelligent ones among them.

He asked Isabella about them and was surprised to know that they had abandoned all reproductive capabilities.

He guessed that they must have valued their dignity, wanting to die as a human being than cattle. He respected such people.

Still, Davis had never seen such huge droves of born immortals being treated this miserably. He imagined this must have been going on for hundreds and thousands of years, causing him to look at the Hydragon.

He had never seen a mixed species between a hydra and a dragon.

It certainly was amusing and hilarious that it submitted underneath Isabella's Emperor-Tier pressure. However, he didn't know why Isabella hadn't killed it yet, considering she was a righteous individual who wouldn't let these kinds of atrocities go.

"I captured him because killing him would be dangerous. I was afraid it might trigger a beast wave extending all directions after a power struggle, and then it would lead to us being found."

"True." Davis nodded, "You did well saving them."

He praised Isabella for her efforts.

Apparently, she had captured seven juvenile Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragons. She planned to disseminate them to the Reaper Soul Legion and perhaps her sisters if they wanted them, but she didn't know what to do about their mother and especially their father.

To kill or to keep them enslaved?

She couldn't decide.

"I'll take the mother as a mount…"

Zestria came forward as she walked out of the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace.

"Great~"

Isabella smiled. She gave the captured mother to Zestria and had her bound with a slave beast contract. It wasn't an equal contract like the Transitory Beast Taming Pact.

With that, Zestria possessed a Late Stage Immortal Emperor Beast, not that it was stronger than her, considering Zestria was an Immortal Emperor and also possessed King-Tier Fire Dragon Blood. However, she was curious about the Hydragon's fire, which seemed to be some sort of darkness-fire combination.

Now it left the man, making Davis wonder who to give him to when he thought about Founder Alstreim Windstorm.

It would be a good mount for him, allowing him to protect the Alstreim Family better. He felt like he owed it to Founder Alstreim Windstorm ever since that happening with Zenova Artoria as her path allowed them to return to the Grand Beginnings Continent. Ultimately, he decided to give it to his father, who had recently become an Immortal Emperor.

'Although he's still at Level One, he should be somewhat capable of controlling the Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Beast Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon with the Three Revolutions Vertex Beast Taming Art…'

Davis imagined.

Still, he couldn't let it happen fast. The mother Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon might be worshipful of Zestria's King-Tier Fire Dragon aura and submit, but the same couldn't be said about his father. He would face many problems in trying to control such a beast.

For the time being, he decided to imprison the father Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon and let it understand that it can't repeat its mistakes anymore.

"What!? No, I will only be loyal to Master Bella!"

"Fuck, you dare be disobedient!?"

Davis beat up the Scorchblaze Infernal Hydragon, his fists smashing the other party's head in a flurry and creating multiple concussions. It rejected entering a slave pact with his father, so he decided to teach that it was not up for discussion.

He didn't have the chill to be reasonable. After, his Evelynn was still missing. With Isabella and Shirley having been found, he was starting to believe that something might've happened to her. After all, he didn't believe his luck would be so good.
